to add pic, click on profile, then click on change photo link (alternatively, click here).

first, upload your photo.
then click on any of the photo to select.

Maybe have a calendar for players to update when they are "not available". Its easier to monitoring and planning future kickard/ matches.

Desmond maybe out on long term due to injuries.
and players who often go overseas to scout new signings for  eg boon heng, Ah soon
Ben and myself are taking exams in early june.
And guys who got to work on some of the sundays eg Qf got month end clsing and Hanwei etc

It's kickoff time~!!

as suggested by qing fa, the new messaging feature is now available, for u folks to send messages to one another without going thru the forum.

as to chee boon's suggestion, i'll have to look into that coz its slightly more complex.
i am thinking more of allowing players to change their current status inside the profile (e.g. available, injued, exam and etc). workable?

anyway, there are players who hardly logged on, let alone logging on to change their status.

hi all, understand that there is an increase in forum activities lately and you might find it your mailbox being flooded.

as such, forum messages will no longer be broadcasting to all by default. only when:
- a new topic is created.
- user choose to do so by checking on the Send this message to all checkbox.

i'll leave it to your own discretion as to when or when not to broadcast.

ok... i've worked out an alternative to that.
if u guys is logged on, u should see combo box right below your picture.

that indicates your current status (kinda like msn). just select whichever is appropriate and it'll update accordingly.

all players' status, if any, can be seen on the team list.

let me know if u think more status should be included. anything more complicated (e.g. cannot join because my dog just died), u'll have to utilize the forum.

good suggestion actually, but to keep the database clean and consistent, let's keep things the way it is for now.

will work out a few proper charts when we completed more matches.

just added something in hope that it can help the players improve themselves.

besides the usual numerical Rating of performance, an additional textbox is added.
it is meant for Raters to comment on the player's fine perfomance or how he can improve on his future game.

as straightforward as it is, your comments will appear under the Comments page and Rater's identity will be kept anonymous.

Personally I feel tat our forum is still cold, serious n quiet. Quote one example is tat when a newbies posted a thread 2 say hi to existing players only a handful responded. I'm not sure they missed the thread or juz simply ignore it. I stil remember when I joined a car forum few wks back n posted a thread 2 say hi & introduce myself, I rec'd dozens of replies within minutes. I really feel I'm welcomed. Come on, let's make the forum warmer a bit.

well said.

let's dont just treat this place as a platform to confirm our attendance, but also a joint for us to communicate like a team, be it soccer or non-soccer related. after all, a group of friends enjoy and play better than a group of strangers.

since many of us are so caught up to know each another on/off the field, we could start off by doing so online for the very least.

Kent, soccer shd b an interesting subject to talk & share abt in tis forum, rite? I appreciate yr effort in maintaining tis forum. Tis r juz some suggestions 2 make our forum interesting. Sori, I only know how 2 say but dun know how 2 do. Hei...hei...hei...

1. Categorize the forum into:
    a. General - here is for the newbies to post their details n say hi so we know who u r lah (w yr photo pls).
    b. Gathering - to confirm off the field gathering loh. Can arrange TT (Teh Tarik Session) or watch EPL 2gether.
    c. Club news - for members to discuss among themselves their supported club or attack other clubs. Hei...hei..hei.
    d. Photo gallery - a collection of photo taken during kickard or matches (subtitled w funny texts based on yr imagination).

swee. good suggestion.

i was in great dilemma when i first developed the forum part, pondering if i should throw them into categories or not.

after reviewing some other forums, i decided to chunk them altogether instead since its easier for everyone to read everything, esp we have only a handful of members.

nevertheless, ur suggestion is very viable since the number of threads are increasing.
let me work it out and see how.

yo soccer fever is back on now. If you looking for places in town to watch soccer, can consider the cafe just outside plaza sing. Its the row of cafe along bakerz inn.

Or the other cafe near to Mr Bean cafe, opposite the chicken rice at selegie.

Any other places?
