i have a suggest...since we have not much friendly game and we are playing each other with players acting as players, how about we organise a friendly match 11 a side with real offical ref
.
Maybe can be held at the beginning of the year to mark a start of a new year? like EPL where there is a charity shield to kick start the season or end of the year to round up the season.

one way is at least we can learn through a real ref on what kind of foul made or how a real ref controls a game.......

This just a suggest see if anyone agrees or think is good to have........comments are welcome!!!!

Can be explored... Thou that match will see limited slots available.

It can be a "season opener" of sorts whereby the BB cup winner takes on the BB challenge winner. Each team just have to choose another 6 to 7 more players if all 10 players from their existing squads are available.

interesting..quite in line with what david had in mind for mid-year.
if we're keen to have it aligned to the charity shield concept, we can have participating players fork out a little more.
after deducting the expenses, the remaining can be donated to choice of charity by the winning team/captain.

Steady lar!

...... lousy idea. Just get the 2 captain to choose 14 players each.

Personally I don't think it a good idea for "man U vs liverpool"....

it will divide the Beatles up....coming from a Liverpool fan....

We should just create and recruit new positions for beatles players. Referee and linesmen.

Get people who are interested in being referee/linesmen and want more practise to join our weekly games...as officials...and we'll give them real match-officiating experience/training every week (They just need to pay us a small nominal fee for this service to hone their refereeing skills). Haha.

looks like our guys are quite keen in this idea.
let me consolidate some of points raised:

- BB internal friendly match with external ref
- BB internal friendly match with our own ref & linesman
- donate proceeds to charity, choice of winning team
- donate proceeds to kelvin need money fund
- BB cup winners vs BB cup challenge winners
- BB regulars vs regulars (seeded draw)
- BB East vs West (david's original idea)

some of the above points could be contradicting. so let's hear what you folks have in mind specifically.

for me, my preference would be BB regulars vs regulars with an external ref, with the proceeds going to charity from all of us in BB.

and I agree with TF. let's leave the BPL rivalry at old trafford & anfield.

Steady lar!

We should do a winning 11 tournament. That way we can have all the liverpool vs ManU rivalry we want.

I discourage for playing Man united's fans  Vs Liverpool's fan too.

Once a reds. Always a reds

But how about playing under the floodlights ... XD

the END is near but painful ...

Or we just do an Old Bird versus New Bird challenge..... And we'll name it the.......

ANGRY BIRD CHALLENGE! Haha
Just kidding!

We can just keep it simple:

1) fix a date and open up a fixture for 32 pax (16 per team)
2) close the fixture 1 mth prior to match day or when all slots filled whichever cones 1st
3) Poll for 2 captains
4) fix a day or a systen to arrange player allocation/selection prior to match day
5) select team colours prior to match day
6) lastly, play the game

Dun need too complicated.
