I understand from Chee Boon that SGX may not be able to make it for September 11, anyone has contact for potential opponents?

I think we'll play your colleagues, but you'll have to book field and arrange ref.

Sori, 1st time attending the match. Few questions:
1. R we playing 11-a-side n full field?
2. I believe starting line-up n subsitutes will b annouced @ later stage.
3. Do we play offside?
4. Sliding tackle allow?

normally we play the standard pitch with 11 a-side, with ref. thus, there is offside.
we aint exactly that formal when deciding the line-up on match-day. but we try to stick to the principle that commited players get to play first and play more.
sliding tackles are definitely allowed, though its not encouraged.

The chances of getting injured in a sliding tackle is quite high, regardless you're the one tackling or tackled.

earlier this afternoon, alvin told me that we could play against some team the ref arranged, but was cancelled. then last told me that min soon's team could be available.
still waiting for his confirmation.

please sms me the place and time that have already book the field for soccer....
alternatively, since we hv 19 players.... why not find abt 3 more to play 11 a side? if cant 10 a side is not bad also....

from my understanding, the field is not booked.
anyway, we would have reserve the field for ourselves if we knew of such overwhelming attendance last week, even without any opponent.
guess its too late to book the pitch and notify all players now, no?
